SAMBO: $95 PER MONTH
Sambo is a Russian Martial Art that began development in the 1920's. Combining a wide range of throws, take downs, sweeps, ground work, submissions and chokes. Also having a comprehensive stand up game including striking and weapon work. Sambo is often called Russian Judo due to its heavy influence from the Japanese art. Russian Sambo has many similarities to Judo and Jujitsu, with its own identity and path to victory. There are different types of Sambo. Combat Sambo is usually what you will find on youtube. Throws, and MMA style matches. Sport Sambo is closer to other grappling disciplines. Focusing on throws, holds and submissions.

Sambo is all about becoming comfortable with the uncomfortable. Our Sambo program focuses on takedowns and has a ground game like no other grappling program in WNY. We offer a very unorthodox, non-traditional Sambo curriculum. Serving our students and WNY well during tournaments. Excelling in positional control, tight holds and crushing body locks. Deploying Sambo's notorious catch wrestling style; attacking whatever we can crank the wrong way. Control, catch and crunch.
Our Sambo program is best known for our Russian Tie takedown system and leg locking dominance. All cross training students from any academy and discipline are welcome! We are a supplemental home to wrestlers, judokas and BJJ fanatics. Happy to have anyone and everyone looking for another perspective on grappling.
