Grand Master Park Jong Soo, Original TaeKwon-Do Master & Student of General Choi Hong Hi is responsible for spreading the discipline of TaeKwon-Do all around the world. By far one of the greatest, if not the greatest Martial Artist to ever live. He inspired countless generations of students from each corner of the world and many went on to opening their own Dojangs. The year is 1972 and now Grand Master David Thiele embarked on one of the greatest journeys of his life, opening a Jong Park Institute right here in North Tonawanda. The humble beginning of what became one of the strongest ITF TKD schools in WNY. Inspiring and training thousands of students himself over his career, while maintaining a professional and close relationship with GM Park. Over 15,000 students have trained here at 1321 Erie Ave. Grand Master Thiele developed an atmosphere and program that began to implement multiple disciplines. Incorporating weaponry and American Sambo. Making our Jong Park location special to the region.
Come 2018 after a lifetime of dedication and inspiration, GM Thiele made the decision to pass the school down to the next generation.
By 2019 - Prescott's Martial Arts Academy was established. The lessons of Grand Master Park & Grand Master Thiele are alive and strong here at our Academy. "we are leading TaeKwon-Do and Sambo into a new era with respect and dignity" - Master Prescott
